A hilarious video has shown the moment when a man gets into a kayak only to capsize almost immediately.
The group of Glasgow friends had hired the canoe for the weekend to take up the canal by Kilsyth.
But the wholesome day trip quickly took an unfortunate turn when the group decided to brave the water.
John McKnight captured the hilarious scene, which sees the man being pushed into the water by his pal.
Unfortunately, we don't think a place on the Olympic rowing team is just around the corner just yet as he lasts exactly seven seconds on the water before dramatically capsizing and landing in the water fully clothed. Meanwhile, his friends can be heard laughing hysterically in the background (so you don't have to feel too guilty for laughing along as well).

Luckily with a little helping hand from his friend, the man quickly gets out of the canoe and staggers out of the water with nothing injured other than his pride.
