Man falls from Kilmarnock's multi-storey car park

Police this afternoon cordoned off Kilmarnock's multi-storey car park after a man is believed to have fallen from the top floor.

Officers are currently at the scene after the incident took place earlier today.

Several witnesses at the scene described seeing a man falling from the building.

An ambulance arrived shortly after to take the man away to hospital.

Traffic has been stopped from travelling past and entering the car park.

Vehicles have been permitted to leave the multi-storey but a diversion is in place as vehicles cannot travel past the Clydesdale Bank.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police Scotland are in attendance at an ongoing incident at Kilmarnock's multi-storey car park."
