ACT Policing will seek the extradition of a man wanted for several charges in the ACT, who was allegedly among four people involved in a pursuit through Queanbeyan on Wednesday.
ACT Policing say the 20-year-old man is wanted over several serious offences including aggravated burglary, ramming a police vehicle, arson and theft.
He was among four people arrested on Wednesday after NSW Police attempted to pull over an allegedly stolen Ford sedan heading towards on Sutton on the Federal Highway.
Police alleged the car refused to stop and a pursuit began until the car pulled over at Sutton Road and the four people ran into nearby bushland where they were arrested.
The 20-year-old, two other men, aged 32 and 24, and a 16-year-old girl were taken to Queanbeyan Police Station and charged.
Police will allege the 32-year-old man and the teenage girl were both found to be in possession of methamphetamine and cannabis and were carrying more than $1500 in cash.
All three men were refused bail and are expected to face Queanbeyan Local Court on Thursday.
The 32-year-old man will face charges of police pursuit - not stop - drive recklessly, drive conveyance taken without consent, resist officer in execution of duty, possess prohibited drug, and deal in proceeds of crime.
The 24-year-old man has been charged with being carried in a conveyance taken without consent.
The teenage girl was given conditional bail to appear in a children's court on September 30 charged with being carried in a conveyance taken without consent, possession prohibited drug, and deal in proceeds of crime.
ACT Policing expect further charges will be laid against the 20-year-old man.
