Man exposes himself at shopping centre sparking police warning

Police want to track down this person after a man was seen exposing himself and committing a sexual act at a shopping centre.

CCTV footage from the Pyramids Shopping Centre in Birkenhead captured a man committing the lewd act at the end of May.

The offence happened at 8.20pm on Wednesday, May 27, and one month later, he remains outstanding.

This morning, detectives released a photograph of a man they want to speak to about the incident, who "may hold important information."

Police have issued CCTV of a man they wish to speak to after a man was seen exposing himself and committing a sexual act at a shopping centre (merpol)

Wirral Community Chief Inspector Paul Holden, of Merseyside Police said: "This was a concerning incident which happened in a public place and close to a busy main road.

"We've been carrying out extensive enquiries since to identify the man responsible, and remove him from the streets.

"The man pictured may hold important information so if you recognise him, please let us know."
