The incident occurred on Tuesday of last week, August 5, in the Bothwell Street area.

It happened while film crews were working to capture scenes for the new Spider-Man film on the street.

The incident occurred in the afternoon, and police say that their enquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers are investigating reports of a man exposing himself in the Bothwell Street area of Glasgow on the afternoon of Tuesday, 5 August, 2025.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”

The alarm was raised by production company Bad Pony Media UK Productions on social media, who shared concerns raised by the public who were watching the filming.

They have urged anyone with information to get in touch with the police.
