A woman travelled 82 miles on the train to meet a Tinder date only to be dumped within minutes because she'd 'put some weight on'.
Jade Savage, 28, spent almost £100 and three hours getting to the rendezvous to meet up with a man - only to be insulted and find the date over less than five minutes after it started.
Not only did Jade turn around and head home, she also launched a joke GoFundMe page to recoup the £93 cost of the date - including £5 for a bottle of wine to drown her sorrows.
But while the bid to raise £30 for taxis, £12 for a missed coach and £46 to cover train fare was a joke - Jade has already hit her target.
Writing on GoFundMe, Jade explained how the date started badly when she missed her coach from Leicestershire to Peterborough and had to get a train - then had to wait an hour before she could get another train back.
The story comes after Tinder revealed its 30 most right-swiped accounts - and it is probably fair to say Jade's date isn't among them.
The mum-of-one told The Sun the pair had met a before and she was talking to him on the phone when she arrived.
She said: “That’s when he said, ‘F*** me, you have put some weight on haven’t you?’ I was like, ‘No, you can’t say that.’
“It was clear he wanted to call the whole thing off but I still hoped we could have a nice time so we went to his car
“But he said, ‘I can say it, it’s a fact. You have put weight on, so therefore I can joke about it.’
“I called him a pr*** but he then went berserk and said, ‘You what, you think I’m a pr***?’ He drove me back to the station and told me I had put him in a bad mood and that I had to go home.”
