A man is due to appear in court later today in connection with the death of Paisley man John Dalziel.
Police arrested and charged the 38-year-old man following a fire at Mr Dalziel's home in Whites Bridge Avenue last Thursday night.
He is expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court this afternoon.
Mr Dalziel, 47, was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Glasgow where he later died.
His devastated daughter penned a heartbreaking tribute which was left among cards and flowers outside his home.
She wrote: “If I could write a story, it would be the greatest ever told, of a kind and loving dad who had a heart of gold.
“I could write a million pages, but still would be unable to say, just how much I love and miss you every single day.”
