Man dubbed 'wizard' after removing Tupperware stains in seconds with astonishing hack

Every kitchen in every home has that one drawer filled with Tupperware boxes.

It might be neat it might be messy but you can guarantee more than a few of the tubs are starting to yellow.

Those pesky stains that never quite wash out signal the death knell for so many boxes - eventually.

But there's no need to chuck out the containers as there's an easy solution to clear away the muck, and it works like magic.

Shared online by @jordan_the_stallion8, the popular Tikok creator wowed fans with the hack.

The 'hero', as viewers dubbed him, spread his wisdom after duetting with another user offering similar advice.

In the original video @facesbyadi advised Tupperware owners you can remove stains using dish soap, warm water and a paper towel. Viewers were instructed to simply pop the required items inside their box, and close the lid, before shaking the tub vigorously for 45 seconds to a minute.

But going one step further, Jordan advised cleaners to use another ingredient as well.

He explained: "In that video she said that the secret to get the red little stains out of your Tupperware containers is just to put dish soap in it with hot water and a paper towel, close the lid and shake it.

"But what they don't tell you is that the red stains is called lycopene and because that molecule is hydrophobic those stains like to cling onto plastic."

Jordan added: "Water doesn't really get rid of them. What you need to do is rub butter around the edges of the containers that have red stains on them and then put the dish soap in there and shake it around, and it will all go away."

Demonstrating his point, he then cleaned a container using the butter and dish soap method. Jordan said to shake the tub until the liquid looks clear then you'll find all the stains are gone - and it really worked.

Amazed by the viral video, one person commented: "Witchcraft! it can't be that easy after all these years."

"This man teaches me more than school ever did," a second claimed.

Someone else commented: "RIP to all the ones I could've saved... dang."

So there you have it: the fix to clean your draw full of Tupperware - you'll just need to find the lids first.
