Man 'drunk on plane at Liverpool John Lennon Airport' appears in court

A man has appeared in court over entering a Wizz Air plane at Liverpool John Lennon Airport while drunk.

Louis Mann stood in the dock before District Judge James Hatton at Liverpool Magistrates' Court this afternoon (July 30).

The 27-year-old is alleged to have entered the plane, belonging to Wizz Air, while drunk on December 19 last year.

Mann, of Euston Grove, Morecambe, gave no indication as to his plea today.

Alison Clarkson prosecuted and Clare Roche represented Mann.

The case was sent to Liverpool Crown Court and a hearing will take place there on August 27.

Mann was released on unconditional bail.
