A man has drowned off Dee Why Beach, on Sydney's Northern Beaches, after he was found struggling in the water.
NSW Ambulance Paramedics responded to reports a person was struggling just before 3pm on Sunday.
Local surfers were assisting the man as paramedics arrived.
Lifeguards and paramedics initiated CPR until the Critical Care paramedic and doctor arrived on scene.
The man was unable to be revived.
