A man who was stabbed earlier this month in Uptown on the North Side has died from his injuries.

Dandre Tatum, 41, was pronounced dead Saturday at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

On Jan. 9, he was in an alley about 9:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of West Argyle Street when he was stabbed by a 25-year-old man, Chicago police said.

An autopsy found Tatum died of complications from the stabbing and ruled his death a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said. He lived in Englewood.

Area Three detectives are investigating.
