Man dies, three injured following Central Coast crash

A man has died, and three people are in hospital following a car crash on the Central Coast on Saturday morning.

About 4.30am, emergency services responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash on Washington Avenue, Niagara Park.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and treated four males for serious injuries.

Despite their efforts, one man died at the scene.

NSW Ambulance paramedics drove two men to hospital in a serious condition, one to Gosford Hospital and the other to John Hunter Hospital.

The third man was airlifted Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.

Brisbane Water Police District officers have established a crime scene and the Crash Investigation Unit have commenced inquiries.

The public are urged to avoid the area with road closures in place on Washington Avenue and surrounding areas.
