Man dies suddenly at block of flats in Renfrewshire

Emergency services rushed to a block of flats at the weekend after the sudden death of a 31-year-old man in Renfrewshire.

Officers from Police Scotland were called to Kerr Street in Barrhead at around 5.30am on Sunday morning, June 7.

The death of the male is not currently being treated as suspicious by the nation-wide police force.

Eyewitnesses had reported a large police presence on the scene at the time.

The Police Scotland spokesperson added: "Police were called around 5.30am on Sunday, 7 June, 2020, following the sudden death of a 31-year-old man at a property in Kerr Street, Barrhead.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
