A fourth person involved in a Dan Ryan Expressway crash in 2017 has died of complications.

Marfionne Taylor died July 3 at Elevate Care Chicago North nursing home, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Taylor, 23, was one of four people in a speeding car that slammed into the back of a semitrailer in the early morning of Oct. 28, 2017 in the northbound lanes of I-57 near 107th Street.

The driver, Julius J. Green, then 19 years old, died at the scene, authorities said.

Two passengers, 19-year-old Precious M. Horace and 21-year-old Monteene D. Taylor, were also killed, authorities said. Horace died at the scene while Taylor died at Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

Taylor, of West Rogers Park, was taken to Christ Medical Center in critical condition, authorities said. Autopsy results released Wednesday revealed he died of complications from the crash.

His death was ruled accidental.
