A man has died in a workplace accident at Melbourne Market, the city's wholesale fruit and vegetable market in Epping.
The Melbourne Market Authority said a 23-year-old man died in the incident, which happened at 5:30am Monday morning.
The man was driving an electric vehicle which struck a stationary truck.
Victoria Police and Worksafe have been called in to investigate.
Melbourne Market is a base for 5,000 businesses buying and selling fresh produce.
