A MAN has died following a two-vehicle crash near a town in Perth and Kinross as police appeal for witnesses.

Police were called to the A923 southeast of Coupar Angus at around 3.10pm on Monday following reports of a crash involving a white Suzuki SX4 Aeria and a black Audi TT.

Emergency services attended the incident where the driver of the white Suzuki, a 46-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers said there were no other reported injuries.

The road was closed for several hours while emergency services attended the incident. It has since reopened.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information.

Sergeant Steven Livesey said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who died at this difficult time and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.

“We’re appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened, or may have dash cam footage of significance, to please get in touch.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 1982 of Monday, 25 May, 2026.
