A man has died after a two-car crash near Knutsford.
The incident involving a black Vauxhall Corsa and a silver Mercedes happened on the A556 in Plumley yesterday (March 4) just before 3.30pm.
In a statement Cheshire Police said: "The driver of the black Vauxhall Corsa, a 44-year-old man from Northwich, died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
"The driver of the Mercedes, a 31-year-old man, was taken to hospital for minor injuries."
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have any dashcam footage of the vehicles before the incident to come forward.
