A man has died after an accident at the country’s biggest container port.

The industrial incident happened quayside at the Port of Felixstowe just before 3pm yesterday.

Paramedics at the port tried to save the man, understood to be in his 50s, but he died shortly afterwards, the BBC reports.

The Health and Safety Executive is working with Suffolk Police to investigate what happened.
