A man has died in a horror car crash sparking a major police probe in Aberdeenshire.
Officers swarmed the A950 Mintlaw to New Pitsligo road after the alarm was raised at around 5.50pm yesterday, May 14.
One man was discovered dead at the scene while another was rushed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for his serious injuries.
The busy road had to be shut off for hours as police launched investigations.
Now they are appealing for dash-cam footage as well as witnesses to the incident.
Sergeant Scott Deans from the North East Road Policing Unit said: “I am appealing for anyone with further information, or potential dash-cam footage of the incident, to please get in touch.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland through 101, quoting incident number 2744 of 14 May."
