A man has died following a crash involving two vans and a car this morning (Wednesday, December 9).
Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage to the fatal collision the Winterstoke Road.
Two vans and a car were involved in the crash, causing widespread disruption to motorists and bus services across the city.
Avon and Somerset Police said: "We’re appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision in Bristol this morning (Wednesday, December 9).
"The collision, between a car and two vans, happened at just after 7.30am in Winterstoke Road.
"Sadly, the male driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. Trained officers will support his family at this difficult time.
"The road remains closed for further enquiries to be carried out at the scene.
