A man has died after the car he was driving hit a ditch this evening.
Gardai are investigating the collision, which happened at around 7.50pm tonight on the L2166 near Glenealy Village, Co Wicklow.
Both gardai and the emergency services attended the scene.
The male driver, aged in his 40s, was fatally injured in the crash.
The L2166 at Glenealy has been closed for an investigation by a Garda forensic team and local diversions are in place.
