Man dies following three-car collision in Swansea

A man has died following a collision between three cars in Swansea.

Police were called to the incident on the A4217 Pentreguinea Road, St Thomas, at around 10.30pm on Thursday following a collision involving a silver MG ZR, a silver Toyota Celica and a black BMW 1 Series.

The driver of the MG ZR later died as a result of his injuries and his family are being supported by specially trained officers.

Pentreguinea Road, Benthal Place and Maesteg Street were closed for some time following the incident but is now reopen.

South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision or for anyone who may have seen the movements of the car prior to the collision or may have dash cam footage.
