Man dies following one-vehicle crash in Co Fermanagh

A man has died after a crash in Co Fermanagh in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The PSNI has confirmed that the man died following a one-vehicle road traffic collision at the Marble Arch Road, Florencecourt, outside Enniskillen, on June 29.

At 5.20am, police in Fermanagh advised the public to avoid the area after the collision.

They said: "The Marble Arch Road in Florencecourt, Enniskillen is closed in both directions following a road traffic collision. Diversions are in place at the junctions of Swanlinbar Road and Bog Road. Motorists are advised to avoid the area."

A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland said: "Police can confirm that a man has died following a one vehicle road traffic collision at Marble Arch Road, Florencecourt in Enniskillen during the early hours of this morning, Tuesday June 29th.

"The collision was reported to police at approximately 3.45am and involved a grey coloured Volkswagen Golf.

"The man was pronounced dead at the scene."

Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed what occurred or who may have captured it on their dashcam to call us on 101 quoting reference number 204 of the 29/06/21.

The March Arch Road remains closed at this time and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
