A man has died following a major incident in East Kilbride yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of Alison Lea at around 4.15pm yesterday amid reports of a disturbance within a property on the street.
Police confirmed that while they were in attendance the 59-year-old man was seriously injured and has now died.
A large police presence remains at the scene this morning, including forensic teams, with the street cordoned off.

Officers have now launched an investigation into the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.15pm, officers attended at a property in East Kilbride. A 59-year-old man was seriously injured and has since died.”
