A man has died following an early hours smash in Cheshire.
Police are appealing for information following the crash in Macclesfield, which claimed the life of a 57-year-old.
Officers were called to reports of an incident on Kendal Road at around 4.30am on Saturday (July 18).
A blue Ford Focus had hit a tree.
The driver, from Macclesfield, was taken to hospital, where he later died.
His next-of-kin has been informed.
Police are appealing for witnesses - or anyone with dash cam footage of the Focus prior to the incident - to come forward.
