A man who was wounded in a shooting last week in Uptown has died from his injuries.

The 38-year-old was pronounced dead at 4:11 p.m. Sunday at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

On Sept. 11, he was sitting in a vehicle about 6:40 p.m. in the 1000 block of West Argyle Street when someone fired shots, striking him in the head, police said.

An autopsy found he died from his gunshot wound and ruled his death a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said.

No arrests have been reported. Area Three detectives are investigating.
