A man who was shot Wednesday in Gresham on the South Side has died from his injuries.
Terrence Woods, 22, was pronounced dead at 10:23 a.m. Saturday at the University of Chicago Medical Center, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
On Wednesday, officers found him laying on the street about 9:30 p.m. in the 8400 block of South Vincennes Avenue with a gunshot wound to the head, Chicago police said.
He was taken to the hospital in critical condition at the time, police said.
No arrests have been reported. Area Two detectives are investigating.
