A man who was found with a gunshot wound in West Garfield Park last month has died from his injuries.

Tracey Stansbury, 26, was pronounced dead Monday at Mount Sinai Hospital, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

He was found with a gunshot wound to the head about 12:20 p.m. March 26 in the 4200 block of West Madison Street, officials said. Another man, age 29, suffered a gunshot wound to the back.

Autopsy results released Tuesday found Stansbury died of a gunshot wound to the neck and ruled his death a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said.

No arrests have been reported. Area North detectives were investigating.
