A man has died at a shopping centre in Leith.
Police are investigating the 'unexplained' death after the alarm was raised at around 6pm last night.
Officers swarmed the Newkirkgate Shopping Centre after the man took unwell and died at the scene.
Cops cordoned off the area setting up a police tent as they carried out probes.
A police spokesperson said: "Around 6:05pm, officers were called to the Newkirkgate areas of Leith after a man had taken unwell.
"The man was later pronounced dead at the scene. The death is being treated as unexplained and inquiries are ongoing."
