Man dies and another stabbed in street fight as police link 'overturned car'

A man was stabbed to death and another injured in a street fight, with police linking an overturned car found nearby.

Police were called to reports of a fight in the Overton Road area in South West London yesterday shortly before 6pm.

London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance all attended the scene where a man, believed to be in his 20s, was found suffering stab injuries.

He was taken to hospital where he remains in a non- life threatening condition.

A second man, also believed to be in his 20s, was also found suffering stab injuries in Wynne Road.

He was taken to hospital for treatment but died there a short while later.

Enquiries are underway to locate and inform his next of kin.

An air ambulance was also sent to the scene in Lambeth (London999)

An overturned car was found in nearby Marcella Road, SW9 and is being linked to this incident.

A crime scenes remain in place and no arrests have been made while enquiries continue.
