A man has died suddenly in the grounds of the University of Glasgow. Emergency services rushed to University Avenue in Glasgow at around 9.25 am following reports that a 62-year-old male had taken unwell.
Medics attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
No further details have been given at this time. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were called to reports of a medical matter in the University Avenue area. Officers attended and a 62-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
