A man has died after suffering a medical episode in Bolton.
Police were called to a field off Cartmel Crescent in the Tonge Moor area at around 8.25pm on Monday (April 25). It came following reports a man was suffering a medical episode.
Paramedics and members of the public fought to save him but sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and enquiries into his death are ongoing, a spokesman for GMP said.

In a statement, the force said: "We were called at around 8.25pm on Monday 25 April to a report of a man suffering a medical episode on a field off Cartmel Crescent, Bolton .
"Despite the best efforts of first responders and members of the public, the man sadly died at the scene. His next of kin is aware and enquiries into the man's death are ongoing."
