A 57-year-old man has been arrested on the NSW Central Tablelands after a man with a gunshot wound was found this morning.
Officers were called to Jenolan Street at Oberon shortly after 8am, where they found a deceased man believed to be in his 30s.
His body is yet to be formally identified.
The man in police custody is assisting detectives with inquiries, but has not been charged.
A firearm has been seized.
Police say initial inquiries suggest the two men were known to each other.
