NEW DELHI: Delhi Police arrested three people on the charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder in northwest Delhi's Bharat Nagar area. The accused were identified as Manish, Abhishek and Kamal.
On Tuesday, there was a quarrel between two parties after drinking in the area. "Two brothers Pankaj (23) and Pawan (33) had a quarrel with the three accused. The quarrel had started after Pankaj abused Manish while going back home," said an officer.
"In the incident, Pawan sustained injuries on his head and abdomen whereas Manish received injury over the left cheek," the officer said.
While Manish was discharged from a hospital, Pawan was referred to a higher centre for treatment. "Pawan, however, did not go to the higher centre for treatment that day. At 8 am on Wednesday, he went to Hindu Rao Hospital and got himself admitted but succumbed to his injuries," the officer said.
