Man dies after police called to Nottingham city centre street over concerns for safety

A man has died after police were called to a street in Nottingham city centre.

Officers were called to Upper College Street following a report of concerns for safety.

Inspector Paul Hennessy said: “Officers are at the scene of the incident and we are working to establish the circumstances of what has happened.

“Anyone who has information who has not already spoken to officers should get in touch with us.”

Police were called to the incident just after 4.40pm on Thursday (December 10).

Anyone with information is asked to call the force on 101, quoting incident 488 of December 10.
