Police are investigating after a man died after being assaulted in broad daylight this afternoon.
Cops were called to reports of a man being assaulted in the Park Drive area of Erskine at 12.55pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called around 12.55pm on Friday, 1 January to a report of a man being assaulted in the Park Drive area of Erskine.
"He sadly died at the scene.
"Enquiries are at an early stage to establish the full circumstances of what happened.”
