A motorcylist has died in Weston-super-Mare following a crash with a car.
Police were called just before 3.30pm today (September 1) after the collision on the A370 Somerset Avenue.
The male motorcyclist was seriously injured and died at the scene. Although formal identification has not yet taken place, the man's next of kin have been informed.
The road is closed between the airport roundabout and West Wick roundabout for collision investigators to examine the scene. The route is expected to remain closed for some time.
