Man dies after falling from high-rise flat in Glasgow as police probe continues

A man has died after falling from a high-rise flat in Glasgow.

Emergency services raced to Kirkton Avenue in the Knightswood area of the city after the alarm was raised at around 3pm on Wednesday, November 10.

Pictures taken from the scene show around half a dozen fire engines in attendance with blue flashing lights on.

The man fell from the building and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers say their enquiries into the horror incident are ongoing.

It's not believed there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers and emergency services were called after a man fell from a building in Kirkton Avenue, Glasgow, on Wednesday, 10 November, 2021. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
