Man dies after 'falling from height off seven-storey block of flats'

A man has died after "falling from height" from a seven-storey block of flats next to a railway station.

Police and paramedics were called to reports of a 'concern for safety' just after 11.30am this morning before discovering the man with serious injuries.

Desperate attempts were made to save him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene near Woking railway station, which is also close to the coroners court.

A member of the public near the scene told Surrey Live: “I have seen just loads of police. People that are walking past have said that they are doing CPR.”

Police say that at this time there is not believed to be any suspicious circumstances or third party involvement.

They are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the man's death.
