Man dies after ‘falling from height’ in Avonmouth

A man has died after falling from height in Avonmouth.

Police were called to a commercial premise on St. Andrew’s Road this morning by an ambulance crew treating a man who had fallen from height.

He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

His death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a commercial premises on St. Andrew’s Road, Avonmouth, this morning at approximately 7am by ambulance crew treating a man who had fallen from height.

“Sadly, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene. His family have been informed and our thoughts are with them.

“At this early stage the death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
