Man dies after falling from flat window in Dundee

A MAN has died after falling from a flat window in Dundee, police have said.

Officers were called to Broughty Ferry Road just before 9pm on Friday, and the road was then closed to the public.

An ambulance attended to a 40-year-old man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are continuing their investigation, and the man's death is being treated as unexplained, but it's not believed to be under any suspicious circumstances.

According to The Courier, officers also closed the road between Lilybank Road and Market Street and were also seen taking photographs on South Baffin Street.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.45pm on Friday, we were called to a report that a 40-year-old man had fallen from the window of a flat on Broughty Ferry Road.

“Police and ambulance attended, however, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Enquiries are ongoing and the death is being treated as unexplained, however, there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.”
