A man died after falling from a Liverpool city centre car park.
Police have cordoned off a section of the street near Mount Pleasant car park this morning (Sunday) following the death of a man. Emergency services were called to the scene at around 9.20am to reports a man had fallen from a car park.
His death is currently being treated as unexplained. The car park is closed and police said road closures were in place on Mount Pleasant, Brownlow Hill, Ainsworth Street and Hawkes Street.

Merseyside Police said in a statement: "We can confirm that officers are currently at Mount Pleasant in Liverpool city centre this morning, Sunday 28 May, following the death of a man. Emergency services were called at around 9.20am to a report that the man had fallen from a car park.
"The man’s death is currently being treated as unexplained. The car park is closed and road closures are in place at Mount Pleasant, Brownlow Hill, Ainsworth Street and Hawkes Street.
"Motorists are advised to avoid the area. Thank you for your patience as we deal with this incident."
