A man who fell from a city tower block on Saturday has died.
Emergency services rushed to Candia Towers on Jason Street in Everton after reports of the incident at about 2.25pm.
Today, Merseyside Police confirmed the man had died after the fall.
It is understood he died at the scene and police confirmed his death is not being treated as suspicious.
In a statement, the force said: "We can confirm that a man has died following an incident at Candia Towers, Everton, on Saturday 13 March.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious.

"A file has been prepared for the coroner."
A number of roads surrounding the tower block were cordoned off by police including Netherfield Road and Mark Street.
Scientific support teams attended the scene.
A white tent or covering was set up close to the bottom of Candia Towers as officials dealt with the aftermath of the incident.

People have been paying tribute to the man over the last couple of days.
One said: "I am absolutely heartbroken for that poor man."
