- The passenger, identified only by his surname Shen, lost consciousness on Flight CX216 before landing at Hong Kong International Airport.
- Cabin crew and an onboard doctor provided immediate first aid, and emergency services were notified.
- Paramedics boarded the aircraft upon its 6.53am landing but pronounced the man dead at the scene.
- Mr Shen, reportedly an insurance broker, had been feeling unwell during the journey, and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
