A man has died following a single car collision on Saturday night, police have confirmed.
The crash took place in Heanor on September 4 at 6.35pm, on Heanor Gate Road.
Police were called to reports that a BMW had collided with a wall in the town.
The driver, a 29-year-old man from Heanor, died at the scene.
Police say his family have been made aware and are being supported by specialist officers.
A number of roads were closed as officers completed enquiries and recovered the vehicle.
Police have said that they will be open shortly.
