A man has died after being struck by a train this morning in North Glasgow.
Police and emergency services attended the scene in the Springburn/Germiston area after 9:30am this morning.
British Transport Police have confirmed the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
A Police spokesman said: “Officers were called at 9:37am on 16/02 following a report of a casualty on the railway in the Broomfield Road area of Glasgow.
"Officers attended alongside paramedics but sadly a male was pronounced dead at the scene.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious".
