Man dies after being found with serious injuries in Glasgow street

A man has died after being found with serious injuries in the early hours in a street.

Officers from Police Scotland were called to in the area of the city just after 3am this morning.

Following the discovery the 38-year-old man was taken by ambulance to the where he died.

Cops are currently treating the death as unexplained.

Police Scotland remain on the scene this afternoon (Daily Record)

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "We received a report of a 38-year-old man seriously injured on Northland Drive, Glasgow around 3.15am on Wednesday 16 October 2019.

"He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died.

"A post mortem will be carried out. His death is currently being treated as unexplained."
