A man has died after being found unconscious in Bristol city centre.
Officers attended Canons Way at about 12.20am last night (January 5) after a member of the public called the emergency services just after midnight to report the incident.
Enquiries are currently ongoing and police are currently treating the death as unexplained, but it is not believed to be suspicious.
The man was initially found unconscious and was then taken to hospital, where he died.
A police cordon is understood to have in place in the area earlier today, but this has now been removed.
