Man 'detained' by cops after trespassing onto railway line at Falkirk train station

A man has been detained by police after entering the railway line at Camelon station over the weekend.

Emergency services were called to a section of line at around 6pm on Saturday August, 21.

Both officers from Police Scotland and British Transport Police attended the incident.

Nobody was injured, but services had to be delayed or cancelled.

A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "officers were called to Camelon station shortly before 6pm on 21 August following reports of a man trespassing.

"A man was detained by colleagues from Police Scotland and taken home. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
