A man has denied gaining unlawful access to, and then disclosing, medical records and bank details.
Prosecutors allege that, in 2011, Stephen Anderson unlawfully acquired the data of one person from HSBC and from a medical practice. They say that he also unlawfully gained access to data belonging to a second person from a different medical practice. He then disclosed data from those sources, they claim.
Anderson denied seven charges of breaching section 55 of the Data Protection Act at a hearing at Southwark crown court on Friday morning. The case continues.
